鹽度與溫度對台灣產牡蠣(Crassostrea gigas)眼點幼生附著之影響

本研究進行不同溫度與鹽度對牡蠣(Crassostrea gigas)眼點幼生附著之影響試驗。首先進行眼點幼生對於鹽度與溫度的耐受性試驗,將牡蠣眼點幼生(348.6 ± 26.1 μm)由最初鹽度與溫度為 20 ppt與31°C放入七種鹽度(10、15、20、25、30、35與 40 pp)及六種水溫(16、21、25、27.5、30、35°C)下,約2小時後觀察其活動力,以瞭解在不同溫度與鹽度下之鹽度耐受度。在整個來看,低鹽度不耐低溫,如10 ppt下不適16°C之低溫,但可在較高溫下;高鹽度下不耐高溫,如35 ppt僅在16及20 °C時活動較好。而在高鹽度40 ppt下各個溫度活動力均不佳。牡蠣眼點幼生可以耐受相當廣的鹽度範圍(10-35 ppt)。溫度耐受範圍為16-35°C。其次進行鹽度與溫度對牡蠣眼點幼生附著率之影響,以五種鹽度(15、20、25、30、35 ppt),五種溫度(23、26、29、32、35°C),每組三重複。1公升的燒杯飼養1000隻眼點幼生。以白色磁磚(表面積為13.11 cm2)置於燒杯底部作為附著基。投餵混合的藻類(Tetrasemis sp. 與 Chaetoceras sp.約1:2),使藻類濃度約在1-2 ´ 104 cells/ml,每日飼育2次,每日換水40%,96小時後計算磁磚上的牡蠣苗附著數量,發現最佳溫度為26-32°C。最佳鹽度為15-25 ppt。本研究顯示鹽度與溫度是牡蠣眼點幼生附著時的重要影響因子。

摘要abstract(英) The effect of salinity and temperature on the settlement of the pacific oyster, Crassostrea gigas, was studied. Firstly, the activity of the competent pediveligers, eyed-larvae (348.6 ± 26.1 μm in total length), in seven salinities (10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 ppt) and six temperatures (16, 21, 25, 27.5, 30, and 35°C) were observed. The competent pediveligers were tolerable to wide salinity (10-35 ppt) and temperature (21-35°C). Secondly, the effects of five salinities (15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 ppt) and five temperatures (23, 26, 29, 32 and 35°C) on the settlement of eyed larvae were tested. The optimal salinity and temperature were 26-32°C and 15-25 ppt, respectively.
