研究報告摘要(英) In order to know the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine, seahorse, and inhibit the spreading catch of wild seahorse, therefore our study focused on seahorse and it’s compound prescription efficacy, and estimated the substitute possibility of cultivated Hippocampus kuda seahorse. Crude protein is the major portion of H. kuda and H. erinace, and the ash as follow, however the heavy metal content of these two seahorses are safe for edible. The hot water and alcohol extract of seahorse have good antioxidative abilities, but the chelating Fe+2 activities are low to 10%. Furthermore, both two kind of extracts can activate the proliferation of HB4C5 cell and J774.1 cell, and also can stimulate HB4C5 cell to secret IgM antibody. After in vitro digestion of alcohol extract, which still can activate the proliferation of SHSY5Y cell to 130%, and under the microscope we can observe that the axons of cells are extended. But under the same protein content of hot water extract, the sick H. kuda can not activate the proliferation of HB4C5 cell as normal H. kuda extract. In animal test, the hot water extract of H. kuda and H. erinace all can elongate the swimming time of mice, and reduce the concentration of creatitine and urinary urea nitrogen in serum, so it is suggested that the hot water extract of H. kuda has the ability of anti fatigue, but there is no effect on immunomodulatory. So we suggest that cultured H. kuda may have the possibility to substitute of H. erinace.
