第六代SPF之草蝦由蝦苗養殖至第七個月,進行篩選平均體重為40.62±10.93 g,比較其親代同時其之平均成長39.21±7.30 g無顯著差異,篩選後培育至平均100公克以上大小,經外表篩選與PCR檢測無WSSV病原,共挑選出雌蝦223尾,雄蝦200尾,作為進行人工催熟與蝦苗繁殖。經催熟後共有341尾次成熟產卵,平均產卵數為59萬粒/尾,孵化尾數47尾次,平均孵化出無節幼蟲21萬尾/尾。篩選培育之第七代SPF蝦苗經白點病毒攻擊試驗,顯示平均活存率24.9±7.6﹪與親代的21.4±6.7﹪,比較對白點病毒的耐受性無顯著差異,但與第四代平均的4.9±0.7﹪則有極顯著差異。
研究報告摘要(英) The breeding and selection program of specific pathogen free (SPF) tiger shrimp, Penaeus monodon was performed in the present study. At the 7th month of culture, the F6 generation shrimp with a mean weight of 40.62±10.93 g, no significant difference to their parents (39.21±7.30 g) at same age period were selected for growth out to more than 100 g. Thereafter, 223 female and 200 male of selected F6 shrimp were picked by the appearance and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) detection of White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV) for the ripening and breeding. 341 shrimp were mature after ripening, and the mean egg production was 49 thousand/shrimp. In addition, 47 batches of egg were hatch, and the mean hatching rate was 210 thousand larvae per batch. For the WSSV challenge test, no statistical difference was observed between the survival rates of F7 generation shrimp larvae (24.9±7.30%) and their parents (21.4±7.30%), but the survival rates of F7 generation shrimp larvae was significant higher than that of F4 generation shrimp (4.9±0.7%).
