Japanese seaperch(Lateolabrax japonicus) and Grouper(Epinephelus fuscoguttatus x Epinephelus lanceolatus) are currently the largest cultured fish species in Taiwan. In recent years, diseases and poor management have often caused a large number of deaths during the breeding process, which has brought the issue of disease control to the fore. Therefore, this study will use macroalgae extracts of Sarcodia montagneana J. Agardh. and Ulva lactuca as diets additives to develop functional diets to effectively improve the Japanese seaperch and Grouper's immune regulation ability, improve immunity and reduce pathogens and other factors causing death. This year, we expect to development feed formulation with macroalgae polysaccharides for Japanese seaperch, and to compare the effects on growth and immunity. Then we want to set up a demonstration field to demonstrate the feeding effectiveness of the health feeds with macroalgae polysaccharides.
