在政府推動數位化臺灣的過程中，為解決因數位化所帶來的寬頻問題與因應多元化網路應用，2005年政府推出「M-Taiwan」計畫以提升台灣網路行動應用與服務。為配合此項政策，本所亦於2009年開始進行本所之網路行動化服務，同時亦持續進數位化以充實行動化資訊內容。本年度除增加數位文獻內容273篇、PDF格式光碟書14片及小丑魚文獻書目，並提供農委會農業知識加值網站259片數位文獻外，亦製作「曼妙家族-小丑魚」影片。該影片不僅提供民眾相關小丑魚生態與保育教育知識外，亦借由本所開發之人工養殖技術提供產業發展方向。另外，水產品良好農業規範(TGAP)方面，本年度並無配合農委會政策新增水產品項，但本所自辦生產履歷系統部分有配合其他試驗研究增加豹鱠及鱟之養殖記錄表單。

In 2005, government implemented an M-Taiwan project to solve the problem of broadband and the insufficient contents of web service during the progression of e-Taiwan. The Fisheries Research Institute in 2009 started to take part in this project to build mobilized service. This year, digitizing publications and references with PDF electronic books were continued, and two new tables were added into the TGAP system. The film "The lovely family - Crown Fish" not only provided knowledge for people in educational purpose, but also indicated a way for the aquaculture industry through the introduction of clown fish aquaculture techniques which developed by the Institute.
