1、種蝦的成長會隨著體型的增大而減緩,記錄最大的頭胸甲長約13㎜。頭胸甲長
10.5㎜的種蝦約可孵出3000隻蝦苗。卵孵化後約1-2天種蝦會再次產卵。
2、小海馬放入FRP桶後立即投餌,餌料密度5隻/㏄,中午觀察餌料密度若太低,則進行追加。每日吸底兩次,藉以清除海馬排泄物及死亡的小海馬,以維持水質之穩定。
3、探討淡水魟魚繁養殖的相關技術,至目前已蓄養約40尾淡水魟魚,定期量測成長,部分魟魚陸續發育成熟,水溫控制在27℃,可維持魟魚正常活動力及成長。
4、針對已建立之海葵魚繁養殖技術運用於『海葵魚種苗生產模廠』規劃設計,並收集國內外海葵魚品種16種,進行種魚培育及親魚配對工作,目前已配對完成180對,其中36對已開始產卵,截至目前為止生產1.5公分以上海葵魚種苗55,000尾。
5、98年已訪視台灣東部及南部地區養殖觀賞魚場10場,共收集病例數65件,其中海水觀賞魚佔20例,淡水觀賞魚佔45例 。
6、完成至少五種海葵魚長程運輸包裝技術;運輸前禁食、鹽度30‰、22℃之清潔海水、單隻包裝與投予特定種類與濃度之麻醉劑,可確保活存率達8成以上。吸附介質無明顯提升活存效果。

The harlequin shrimp growth ratio was decrease with the increase size. Max carapace length about 13mm. The carapace length over 10.5mm could hatch over 3000 larvae. The shrimp spawning again after hatched 1-2day.
Newborn seahorses were fed of copepoda immediately which food density was 5 inds/㏄ and add more copepoda if the food density too low at noon. The detritus and dead seahorses in the bottom of FRP tank should be removed twice a day in order to keeping the water clean.
This study was to explore the culture and propagation technique of freshwater stingray. At present, we have been kept about 40 freshwater stingray, and measurement of fish body length and weight regularly to explore the growth of fish. Some stingray already mature, may engage in reproduction test . The water temperature controlled at 27 ℃, we can maintain the normal activity and growth of freshwater stingray.
This project has established technologies of breeding anemonefish. Currently, 180 pairs of brooder on 16 species of anemonefish have been successfully reared. Among them, 36 pairs have started spawning. And more than 55,000 young fish (>1.5 cm) were produced.
In this study, we collected samples from 10 ornamental fish farms and obtained 65 cases(45 cases from freshwater ornamental fish and 20 cases from seawater ornamental fish)from distinct geographic regions of the east and south Taiwan in 2009.
Set up the technique of packaging anemone fish at least 5 species in long-distance transportation. Pre-transport fasting, 30‰ salinity, 22℃ clean sea water, single packing and specific kind and concentration anesthetics apply to the packaging process and keep the survival ratio above 80%. Adsorptive substance cannot raise the survival ratio.
