本所於98年11月成立創新育成中心，並於99年正式有廠商進駐營運，今年度希望整建東部海洋生物研究中心培育室及養殖池，提供相關養殖業者進駐培育海水觀賞魚繁養殖技術。持續舉辦研究成果發表暨招商說明會，廣宣本所研發能量及創新育成中心之服務內容，招攬優質廠商進駐、輔導管理及考核。並擔任潛在廠商產學合作、技術移轉或進駐育成中心媒合的窗口，轉介媒合廠商與研究人員洽談，結合各式運作模式加速現有產業技術提升或轉型。另外透過參與企業管理、技術轉移、智慧財產、資本市場與投資行銷等相關課程及講座，培訓具有專業能力之人才。

The Fisheries Research Institute established an Innovation ＆ Incubation Center in November 2009, in order to assist innovators to improve fishing and aquaculture technology, processing of fishery products etc. The project of this year is (1)to plan and establish an incubator at Estern Marine Biology Research Center, (2)training of professionals, (3)to recruit manufacturer, (4)to deal with the affairs of incubators, such asmanagement, check, giving the guidance and assistance, and so on.
