整合通訊與感測器技術,利用WSN無線、全天候、自動監測之特性,以長期、無害且全面性監測周遭海域、箱網養殖區及水產養殖種原之環境變動,可協助沿岸保育棲地避免人為破壞,或提前防範天然力之破壞,及採取必要之措施,亦有助於本所種原庫之運作與研究。

Integrated the communication and sensor technology. Based on the unmanned, full-time and wireless features of WSN, environmental fluctuation of protected coastal area, cage culture area and aquaculture genetic bank can be continuously and harmfullessly monitored to prevent man-made or natural damages and take next steps through the real-time observation and warning. The WSN System will also be helpful for operations of our Genetic Bank and breeding studies.
