Edwardsiella tarda is the causative agent of edwardsiellosis that
causes serious economic losses in the global aquaculture industry,
especially in cultured eel. Quick and easy detection kit is critical for
the disease diagnosis and control. The aim of this study is to develop a
rapid on-site detecting kit for the detection and presumptive diagonosis
of Edwardsiella tarda.
