水產種苗研究團隊-優質海鱺種魚培育與育種(Ⅳ)

海鱺是台灣積極開發的箱網養殖魚種之一,但目前養殖的海鱺已經近親繁殖數代,導致有近親衰退現象,使得幼魚易感染疾病,有早熟及成長遲緩的問題,影響產業發展甚鉅,故有必要透過選種育種的程序,改善種苗的品質。本計劃以野外捕獲之海鱺種魚,經與人工育成之種魚雜交繁殖,來進行育種選育,生產優質種苗並進行保種工作,且進行親源鑑定分析及箱網田間試驗。結果本年度海鱺種魚共繁殖16次,培育至箱網中養殖幼魚,其成長並無明顯優勢,但實驗仍在進行中。保種蓄養3批次,分別為成長快之遠親子代16尾;遠親抗病子代30尾;近親抗病子代30尾。

Cobia, Rachycentron canadium, is one of the most potential sea-cage farmed fish species in Taiwan. Recently, we find that the disease resistance of cobia fingerlings is low, resulting in low survival rate, early-maturing and growing up slowly. These are probably due to the inbreeding depression of cobia and we will solve this problem by proceeding cobia selected breeding. We progress propagation of cobia outbred line and culture fingerlings in sea-cage to verify the feasibility of selected breeding in cobia. Results show that the outbred breeder reproduce 16 times in this year and the growth rate of sea-cage fingerlings is no difference between outbred and inbreed lines. We culture three cobia bath in respect of grow fast line(16), P. damselae resistant outbred line(30) and inbred line(30).
